During the first weekend in May, Wild Covey Heatwave placed first and Wild Covey Coldfront place 3rd in the C.W. Boggess Memorial Shooting Dog Classic. This was a big win for these two young competitors as 14 of the 21 dogs entered had championship placements. Special thanks to Vagas Mathiesen and the judges Dale Renick and Jim Tande.

In a field of 21 competitors, Wild Covey Heatwave "Henry" emerged as the Runner-Up Champion in the 2010 NBHA Midwest Regional Championship. His forward, 3 find, performance solidified his spot as 1 of the 2 top competitors at this highly touted field trial event.
